Spitiualism and the long road home
Our journey can take us to places we never thought we could go.

Our spiritual journey is unique to each and every one of us.  Sometimes you might find your journey runs parallel with the journey of someone else or a group of people.  At other times our journey must be taken alone.  That can be a scary thought but if we alway trust in the power and protection of spirit then there really is nothing to be afraid of.

Part of our journey must be spent exploring or we will never learn or grow.  Of course exploring sprituality has to be embarked upon with some degree of caution.  There are always going to be people who will take advantage of us if we allow them to.  But your journey of exploration can take a different road and can be a very pleasurable experience if you can find the meditation group or circle that is right for you.

Find a local group who come with recommendations to join.  Find a group you feel comfortable in.  If you have any doubts listen to your inner voice.  Sometimes we do need to push ourselves and allow new experiences to happen, but there also has to be a degree of comfort for you within this.

Look on our forum to find spiritualist churches that may be local to you.  Most will either run a meditation group, or a circle, or know of one that you can join.

Never worry about being 'new' to all this.  We were all new to it once!

Spiritualism and the Long Road Home
Hi Mandy,

There is great truth in what you say in this post. All of us are looking for "something" but not all of us find it. Many of us don't even know that we are looking for something. But all of us have that drive. All of us seek a place and friends that make us feel we are at home.
